Environmental Services Technician (PRN) – Evening Shifts, No Weekends!

Location: Urology Specialists, Sioux Falls, SD
Job Type: PRN (As Needed)
Hours: 2–3 shifts per week | 6 to 12 hours weekly
Shift: Flexible Evening Shifts (Monday–Friday)

About the Role:

We’re excited to expand our team with an in-house Environmental Services Technician! This PRN role is perfect for someone looking for flexible hours, no weekend work, and the opportunity to make a real impact in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily housekeeping duties, including cleaning patient rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and more

• Safely dispose of waste and follow infection control procedures

• Use equipment like brooms, mops, floor scrubbers, and waxing machines

• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and PPE

• Keep carts, storage, and laundry areas organized and tidy

• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines in accordance with healthcare regulations

• Work on your feet for the majority of your shift

Qualifications:

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred

• Knowledge of cleaning supplies, equipment, and chemicals helpful

• Basic computer skills

• Strong attention to detail and safety

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to problem-solve and work independently
